Whether it's Tires or Service, we are the company that customers continue to come back to for their auto needs. The reason lies in our commitment to customer service. Since 1958, VIP has provided the highest quality parts, tires and automotive service to New Englanders. A new chapter was started for VIP in September of 2001 when the company was purchased by John P. Quirk, the third generation of Quirks in the auto aftermarket retailing business. With the merger, VIP is one of New England's largest privately held automotive parts and accessory chains with more than 57 stores in Maine, NH and Massachusetts.

Looking ahead to the future, VIP sees the greatest potential in our employees. Our goal is to promote from within, train fully and educate all of our staff, so that we can grow as a company and retain quality employees as they advance in their automotive technical skills and knowledge.

What We Do

Tires
Our knowledgeable Tire staff performs quick in-and-out tire installation (in less than 1 hour). We offer the guaranteed lowest price and will match our competition.



Our quality selection of brand name tires include: BF Goodrich, Pirelli, Goodyear, Cooper, and Michelin, to name a few. With convenient hours of installation into the evening and 52 locations to choose from, we offer the utmost in customer convenience. 

Service
Our free courtesy safety inspection to ensure maximum safety for our customers and their families and our ability to get the service done right the first time keeps us at the forefront of quality service.

Customers put their trust in us. We make sure proper communication (before, during, and after the service) is always adhered to. Our experienced employees include ASE Certified Technicians and Certified Service Consultants. Our written estimate guarantee and a review of the completed work order with the customer in detail ensures that all expectations are met. We would never sell or install a part, tire or accessory that we wouldn't put in our own vehicles.

Partnerships
Our "teammates" include Racecar Driver Ricky Craven, Oxford Plains Speedway, and Beechridge Motor Speedway. We often team up with these partners for charitable fundraising, industry events and other activities.

Training & Development

Coursework that VIP will pay for include:

  • The State Inspection License
  • The Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) exam (Cost reimbursed upon passing grade)

Upon completion of these courses, we offer on-the-job mentoring for all automotive students with a trained and certified mechanic. Motivated and hard-working graduates of these educational programs can expect to advance within our company and we will provide great incentives to stay with us. We intend to grow our company by investing heavily in our employees. We're looking to develop entry-level service techs into professional flat rate tech mechanics, providing mentoring and support each step of the way.
